Indigenous Literacy Day was celebrated on Wednesday September 2 2009.

ILP Ambassadors including David Malouf, Tara June Winch, Kaz Cooke, Sally Morgan, May O’Brien, Dr Anita Heiss, Andy Griffiths, Sam Wagan Watson and Josh Pyke visited schools, bookshops and libraries around Australia.

Riawunna is proud to announce its involvement in the Indigenous Literacy Day Fundraiser 2009. We are inviting you to attend this charity event which will take place over the course of the day, where you will get the chance to chat with some outstanding Tasmanian authors who will give short presentations on their most recent books.

You will also have an opportunity to purchase books supplied from the University Co‐op Bookshop with a percentage of proceeds being donated to this great cause.
